CrossFit is a training program that builds strength and conditioning through extremely varied and challenging workouts.

Each day the workout will test a different part of your functional strength or conditioning, not specializing in one particular thing, but rather with the goal of building a body that’s capable of practically anything and everything.

What to know for your first CrossFit class

Each class begins with a warm-up and programming review where a coach will go over points of performance for the movements planned for the class. Make sure to arrive a few minutes early to grab your favorite spot as we have a grid-system on the floor to maintain proper distancing while working out.

CrossFit is strength and conditioning. A typical day involves a barbell lift where we focus on strength, power, and technique. The lift could be squats, deadlifts, pressing, snatches, or clean & jerks. After the lifting session the class then moves on to the Workout of the Day (WOD). Depending on the day it can be short or long, involve running, rowing, or biking, gymnastics, and barbell work. Every day is different!

What to Bring to Class

  • Water bottle (water + cups will be available)
